Its fall time
Ok everybody fess up........what are yer fall plains.
Fall garden.......new chicks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yard clean up.............take out some trees....................tell yer tail
I will be taking down some trees now the weather is cooler. THese trees were badly damaged by the december ice storm we had..................
Get them set aside and covered so they can season out .....................
I will be planting some pines to replace them and sowing some fescue.
I have ordered a beehive and have planted some clover.........how is that for starters

(kids just dig and dig like they are tryin to get to china every year) darn near twisted my foot clean off a few weeks ago in one of them darn holes.
yeah so all that and stuffs. ill need to drag up the wood from the fence pile up to the side of the house for heat again this year. (provied the landlord sweeps the chimney) sigh. this will be its 3 winter with out sweeping if he dont. and beeing the fire place is the ONLY SORCE OF HEAT for this house . we tend to do a lot of bruning it in. meh well not as much as our naghbor. but still a lot. we start out fire about dusk ish. it normaly goes out about mid night. then about 6am ish ill start a morning fire fo rthe kids to get dressed in frount of. it gose out about 9 ish. thats when i clean out all the ash and such for the day. lol
any way beside yard work. i like to do a good ol fall cleaning. try to get every thing organized for the halladays and crap. also i know about harvest time my deprestion will start to kick in and by a week or 2 befor valintines. it will be at its max. SOOO i also know cleaning will not be something ill look to do evey day. more like lay on the sofa or bed hideing fomr the world. and mopeing aobut hunting comfort foods. lol (x-mas cookie crumb. left over pot roast and mushy taders with extra butter. sweet corn on the cob. yams in maple sause and musshymellows.) HEY A GIRL GOTS TO DO WHAT A GIRL GOTS TO DO lol hehehe to keep some sanity and happyness in the long cold months. lol

Re: Its fall time
Have to survive the Halloween bash this weekend. If we manage that then we will move on to the rest of the list.
We hav'ta get the horse shelter finished. We have the back and top on, just to get the time to get to the sides. We are also wanting to rerun the horse pasture fencing.
The buck goat went on craigslist this evening. Once he's gone the does will go back into the main goat field and then we will be moving that corral fencing to wean our sweet little Glory girl (our cute little shetland filly).
Gonna start working a new gardening area for next year. Gonna get it all plowed and then lots of barn "leavin's" tilled in. We are planning on making the pumpkin patch 100'x 400' next year and gonna try sweet corn next year (that will be at least 25'x100', maybe more) Plus extending the size of the tomatoes, cukes, cantelopes and green beans. Going to try and work in some of the other veggies we would like to try also. WOW we have some serious gardening plans for next spring.
We marked lots of dead trees that need to come down. We will cut and stack, if we get a woodburning stove we'll use the wood, if not it'll get loaded on the trailer and taken over to my dads.
The wooded area that the goats are currently in needs to be cleaned up. We will be cutting out all the "twigs" that they have left standing and burn them once the days are calm and cool.
That should pretty much carry us until Feb when I will be setting up the kidding pens. My does have a due date of Mar 8, the same day as my sweet little son. He's so excited that we are gonna put the kidding pens close to the house so he can watch for the kids too.
Goodness when I see it all in writing I'm not sure I'll ever get it all done.
