Last year I got some little Bantam Cochins in a feed store bin. By Fall I had the next generation. I lost my little rooster the second day we had triple digit temps. That was about a month ago. I cranked up the incubator for the few eggs I had . Here are the 6 chicks that resulted from those eggs.Smile

Yes, they are fuzzy legged and footed. I never had a feather legged chicken until a couple of years ago. Now I have several breeds of fuzzy feets. I have two different breeds with 5 toes. When they all run loose, I sure find funny tracks all around here.
I generally use big aquariums to brood chicks for the first week or so. I set them so the grandkids can watch the babies. I will have to wade through the puppies to get to an aquarium, but I will try to get one out and set it up. I get much better pictures in the aquariums. Smile

Well, the stinking little cuties are still in the house. They attack me for their feed dish. Not really attack, but I have to watch them or they jump out. I am hoping to get them moved outside in the next few days. I will get more pictures then.Smile
