Maggie's Buddy

Last night DJ kept trying to tell us something was outside the back door..he doesn't miss anything...I opened the door and Maggie ran out before I could stop her...this guy was on the porch. Maggie ran into it and knocked him down the steps, then they just stood there looking at each other. Then Maggie just turned around and went into the back yard, not like her at all, she thinks God put everything here just for her to kill. lol..It's like they knew each other..then the possum went into the doghouse. I just left it there, we don't use it anyway. He was gone this morning..Probably hangs out in the back yard and Maggie got to know him/her.

Awww, how cool. Being as how I haven't had those around too much, can they create a lot of damage?

Naw, they don't cause much damage. Their favorite food is stuff that's been dead awhile. They will eat chickens if they're real hungry and can't find anything else.
They don't like to fight, they'll just roll over and play dead (play possum) if they can get away with it..
