Ok ok Laughing
Here is a pic of the riverside and the boat that we took to get to Jurmala, that is a seaside town, a real "summer town".

Here is a map that shows the boat trip (pink) and the train trip back (brown). The boat trip took 2½ hours and costed 10 euros each and the train took 31 minutes Rolling Eyes and costed 1,15 euros for two persons!

Here is pics I took from the boat. All the river banks are clean plain sand!

From the little port we walked down the main street:

down to the beach, first seen through the trees:

then the actual beach wiew:

On the way back to the center we saw many cool houses, heres it 2 of them:

These trains runs every 30 minutes between Jurmala and Riga:

Happy now Treena ? lol! cheers

Such a cute lovely town. I wish every corner of the world was like that.

Many towns in northern Europe are like that because we have really old buildings and as we have space there are towns that are not built upwards. That makes them cosy bateyes

Yikes!!! i did write something but forgot to send - trust me...

i'll try and remember what i said... yes i am very happy caysa that you posted many more lovely pics!
Tom remarked the bright colours reflects in their native clothes - is that right?

i love all those jazzy and arty colours on these houses Very Happy yes it would be very pleasant to walk around there too.

Love that map as it shows clearly where you went by train and the boat... neat pics of landscapes - shops - buildings and even the train looked colourful too! Smile

many thanks for your trouble - you are very lucky to be so close to interesting little countries Razz
