well its big. much bigger then the old one. about 3x-4x bigger. its in a city. every thing is broke..... ok maybe not every thing but seems every thing is takein a crap. 3 bathrooms. 5 bed rooms a den and living room kitchen 2 storys. gots a fire place. and walls and celings i think aobut 25 feetish high. not sure how to get cob webs down. has a very pretty rose garden. and a back yard full of rocks and weeds. its gonna take a lot of work. to get shined up. but all and all its nice. im slowly getin used to it. just takein a wile. all new sounds and city hussle and ect ect ect. how ever much closer to the stores and such so that is cool. .... mm all and all hun just a normal every day house with no real personality. and over welmeming with all the little things to fix and replace. like slide glass on candlears and out let covers and holes in tubs and funky ass shower heads that try to spray across a carpied bathroom. ... teachin the kids NOT TO FLUSH MY DAM ROSES DOWN THE POTTYS. or keeping them from saveing snails in jars. in THE HOUSE. kinda thing. lol but other wise its ok. ill prolly gorw to love it in time maybe.

congratulations on finding and moving into this place Very Happy hopefully your kitchen and laundry is pretty okay to work in? Wink

giggling - love the sound of your 'new' home and i am sure you will impregnant that in a very short time with your imagination, flavour, character and fun! why worry about broken stuff - you've got a roof - space and a home!

your precious children will adore the huge space to run around inside and outside? make one room into fun sound-proofed room to paint - make stuff in - to play and dance to music in - to dress up and stage wee plays? or whatever - caged canaries? ant-farm? or even hatch chicks in bators in there?

is there any space outside for chooks? make a run and shelter out of what you find there - broken bits and pieces?

i will really enjoy hearing for your posts what happened and all in your 'new' homely home!

i'm so happy for ya! Very Happy

nope treens hun its a rental in the city. no painting alowed and no chickens at all. but they do have their own rooms now. how ever we are havein a hard time makein them sleep in them. sigh....... they keep bunching up together in one room or 2. but yes they do have lots of room to play and run about in the house. im tryin really hard to keep them from doing it on the stairs. as for the loudnery i still go to the mat every day. and as for the kitchen . well i had a dish washer ....( first time in some 5 yrs) that is BROKEN!!! soo back to hand washing again. in tell or if it ever gets fixed. and the prob i have with the bathrooms is all the tubs have holes in them like some one took a hammer to them. and one dont have water at all. SOOOOOOOOO baths and showers are fun. lmao to say the lest. but it will get there.

any way back to flowers. .... i have a really pretty yellow rose bush out here. one that looks like the old fashen roses where the petles dont roll out when open. ....... i think that one is my most fave bush so far. i have lots of red pinks oranges and off colors as well. but that yellow one is the best. the roses are all faded with differant shades of yellows some more dark some more white all on the same bush.just a really nice bush.

Sounds like a pretty rose bush. You will have to try and get a pic of it before it is done blooming.

Sorry to hear about the bathtub issues. Did you fill out a pre condition report I hope, so that they don't try to pin the damage on you? Have the new landlord(s) said anything about fixing them and the dishwasher?
