we have a new member of the family. She was dropped off and was very hungary. She has fattened up in the last week we have had her and my husband said he wants to name her. I think she is a cutie

she does have one eye puffed up I think she was dropped out of a window of a vehicle and hurt the cheek under the eye. it's puffy and it oozed some stuff, but we have been doctoring it and Maple(yes all the dogs love her) has been licking it. I think she will heal fine. The only one that has a problem with our newest member is Olli (our cat) lol she hisses and growels yet will eat out of the same bowel as it. She's all talk. cat

Awww, sweet Julie!

Do me a favor and have her tested for feline lukemia...you don't want to infect your other animals. And, puffy, oozy eyes can be a leading sign of the disease. It is treatable, so don't panic...and since I am only stabbing in the dark, I am more than likely wrong.

I would also have an aids test done, since she is a stray that was definately not well cared for.

Now, what are you going to name this newest, littlest, angel in your life???

Awwwww, what a sweet little face. I have such a soft spot for calicos. I will never understand how people can just drop an animal off like that, but at least she found you.
