Almost missed this...

Hi everyone in the house.... and a unique house this is. Not everyday I see a site for chicken.

We have 5 chickens, not for eating ... the oldest's been with us for 6 years. But they're not my main draw, no offense to chicken lovers.

It's gonna be hard to say or even prove this until I get pixes of our beautie(S)... my wife, daughter and I are the proud pets of (I think) 62 CATS and 11 DOGS . Nope... not a typo error.

affraid

How that happened? My wife is a cat lover, and I'm a dogman. Not for breeding, we don't sell' em ( unless it's the long haired one's ). We're sort of like an SPCA here. Pick up strays, find people who want to adopt them. But most of the time, they end up with PR visas.

I'll post whatever pixes I have tomorrow. It's 3am here.... and bedtime for me

See y'all.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

How I found this site? Anna and I are members at a graphics site and she sent me a file I needed. She included a link to this site.

I love animals since I was a kid. We had a whole gamut... apart from regular house pets, we had at one time or another an eagle, monkey, tortoise and peacock.

My wife is a true cat lover. Anytime we go out, her eyes and ears are on the lookout for cats. I don't keep count but over the years, I'd say we've picked up more than 250 cats. And like I said, a lot of them, most especially those with special character, end up staying with us. So whenever we pick up a stray, I'd be singing " to all the cats we loved before.... who traveled in and out our door.....

I'm the dog side of the family. And the one people call to pick up a stray dog they come across... The most recent one was a German Shepard. One nite a lady called asking if we can pick up a dog that strayed into their house. I rushed down with a friend and took it back. Stayed with us for almost a month til this morning when the lady called saying she found the owners. Heart-breaking for me and my daughter actually.... we grew very fond of him. But he's not ours ... and I'm glad he's reunited with his owners.

tree68... my avatar was supposedly for use on our local SPCA website... But I decided to use it for me.... Twisted Evil

I'll post pixes later after I resize them down.

See ya....
