march 13 2002- april 9 2008 may she R.I.P

well guys miss carmal has passed a way to day..... she was attacked in our yard by a new neighbors dog. hubby came apon the seen of the crime but it was to late for her..... she was dieing and he could do nothing to help her. i got home from terrys councleing apt at the school board to find the feathers and a very pissed husband.

aco will be out in the next few days to take a report. and had gave us permison to lay her to rest.

my husband almost whent to blows with our new neighbors. but thank God didnt. and whent to work.

later to day the neighbor came to say he was truely sorry. and offer us a new hen. and explained he was just given the dog just but 3 days ago, that it had chewed its new rope and so he had gone in to silver lakes to get a chain and some food. when the dog chewed its way out of the house

we have forgave him. but declined the new pet,, she just cant ever be replaced. and i miss her soo bad.

she was the last of the gomer line.... and its something i have to face all over again... its gonna hurt but we will all get over it im sure... any way no more birds for us. and now i get to see the hole family one day over that "rainbow brige"

Oh dang Serina! What really sad news! Your poor hubby having to actually witness the event! I have had neighbor dogs do the bad deed, but only saw the left overs of the mess...not the actual occurance. Give him a hug for me and for yourself!

we do still miss her but i think we will be ok. we spend a lot of time with her to day. we planted some of her fave flowers around her grave and could not find a sutable cross so we just layed white stones on top in the shape of one... looks pretty..... we all giggled a bit as it looks odd. by now them plants should be stiped leaf and petleless. and worms should have been dug and removed by her..... lol she so loved the spring planting. she did most our dingin for us.

but it helped us to feel better about it and really face the fact she is not with us any more. but still keep us bussy.

rachel.(she was miss carmals most fave) filled a little heart shape tin with her fave sunflower seed and cracked corn. and layed that with her too.

she is set to go now im sure happy as a little bug in a rug.

the aco came out as i was gone in town geting the flowers and such for carmals resting place. and left a note on the door for us.

i dont think im gonna make a loss report over this. or really push it any more.. the man came and did all he could. he said he was truely sorry. even looked the kids in their teary little eyes and said he was sorry. he offerd a new hen. but we just cant replace carmal. he has done all he can do about this and i dont think he needs to have to deal with any more.... i hardly see how havein his little girls puppy put down can make this any better... the loss of 2 loved pets and the heart brake of a 2yr old little girl is not gonna bring carmal back.

what is done is done. and so we all will move on.....
