Pleased as punch to introduce Teddy (bear)

Post by Deb on 10/27/2008, 9:30 pm

I have Grizz (ly bear), Lab/Sheppard/Wolf mix:

And now I have Teddy (bear), Pekinese/Chihuahua mix:

Grizz trying to teach Teddy how to play with the frisbie.

Sarah checking out the new mouse to bat around.

Now, if you ask Grizz...it's HIS puppy. If you ask me, it's MY puppy. Sarah thinks he is a mouse cause he is so little. And Baby (the other cat) says she doesn't care if he lives here, as long as she doesn't have to cuddle him. LOL

Grizz has been meeting some little dogs around town on our walks. He has been 'asking' me for his own puppy for a while now. The timing just hasn't been right, or there are no little ones available when it is time. Now that I am home for a bit until I start working, I can bond with Teddy and start training. So, it all worked out finally and Grizz INSTANTLY took to him and claimed him as his own. LOL

ha ha ha, cute Noend....very cute.

lol WC, he came from the Humane Society. His momma was brought in by a very unreputable breeder in town...she was preggers.

The mom is still recovering and will be offered up for adoption soon. I hope a real nice family gets her.

He is VERY sweet...right now him and Grizz are cuddled up on the doggy bed together. Told ya, Grizz thinks it's HIS puppy.

Teddy was one of 3 puppies. All of them were homed instantly. Momma needs to recooperate and then I am sure she will find and instant forever home also.

Thanks Okie. I am not, technically, a small dog person, but this little guy just managed to sneak into my heart.

I used to like big dogs better too, but after our old english sheep dog had a stroke, and our 100 pound German Shepherd developed degenerative myelopathy and had to be helped everyplace they went I decided I liked little dogs better.
