Please say a prayer for Grizz

He goes in to surgery in the morning for a mass just behind his left front shoulder. The vet says it seems too deep to be a fatty tissue mass and he has lost 15 pounds in only 2 months. Something is wrong. Just hoping this isn't too devestating.

It was only a deep seated fatty tissue mass. Which is good that they took out and scoped around a bit, as apparently fat at that level (under the muscle) is really bad and he has a lot of it apparently. He doesn't really have a fatty layer on top of the muscle though. But, there is a layer of fat around his heart that is constricting it. So, we have to be ever so vigilant with his weight from now on.

But, it wasn't cancer and he will be with me for a good long time yet. So all in all the day ended very good.

I am soooo glad Grizz is recovering very well and continue to be your company and teddy's too
