My new bird

Well over the past few months I have been making frequent stops at a local pet store...well I finally picked one out Yesterday. I went and picked him up after I got off work today...Enjoy!!!

does he sit on your finger? come back to you or the cage? how old is he? was he hand-reared?

tell us more about him - his name?

yes i enjoyed looking at his pic - pretty boy!

He is a mealy headed golden mantled Rosella. His name is Captain, and he is the devil in feathers!

I am sure that the move has upset him greatly. Give him time to settle in and see that you are the hand that feeds him and that you are not going to go away (leave him, abandon him, etc.) and he should settle in just fine. Have the bandaids ready until then though....giggle.

Wow! He is colorful! My DH would love him. He wants a bigger bird (mine are all on the smaller side), but I am afraid of the bigger BEAK!!!

Beautiful specimen. wait a minute ... HE? Handsome specimen.....

Must be the angle of the shot. Head's shaped like a female. Devil?,,,, I'll believe in that... give him free reign of the house, he'll soon be the boss. Vibrant colours he's got.

I've always wanted to have birds like these... so do the cats in the house. Dream on vic, dream on....

VERY HANDSOME love them colors Smile gratz.

i understand the devil in feathers.... lol we had our selfs a ring eye love bird... he was a pretty boy . green with the red gold head red beak ranbow tummy.. yeah just a site to see in color....

and MEAN AS HECK. THAT LITTLE EFFER WAS HELL ON 6 TOES. omg....... but we loved pastacho any way. lol could tell you some sorrys bout him.
