I haven't told Danny yet, he will be just as torn as I. My 2 Embden geese have been fighting. The bigger one is molting and the smaller one took this as the chance to become leader. Last night the fight got out of hand. Ferdi must have gotton in the way and her neck was broken. The big goose may not live and all his feathers and wing feathers were torn out. he's just skin and blood with a few feathers here and there. He did protect his belly and legs, because they aren't ... Ok first he has had a hard time growing from fuzz to wings right from the begining. But he now hangs his wings down and they flop when he walks. he seems to have a skin growing over them. I tried to peal a little of the skin like thing back, but it bleeds. There is a wing in there all folded up. I didn't want to hurt him and really don't know what to do. Has anyone seen ... OK so I have a Muscovy duck that was sitting on 5 eggs. About the 19 of September she started rolling one of the eggs out. Now I know they do this if the egg is bad or the egg is going to hatch late and they don't want it.
