Good morning. Today is work, an hour's break, meeting, no break, land use change meeting, home, bed. LOL

My morning isn't going so well. I am glad to see that you are in good spirits Bellair....I am ready for this week to be over already.

not much happening here today
it is a balmy 13 with a wind chill of-15 I do think I am not going out
unless absolutely necessary

Dang..................... and here it is I was giving hope
Possibilities the look of a new and exciting day full of ambition and promise

Now I realize of course that most if not all of us are socked in with, cold, snow rain and over cast

But I promise..... will shine again on each

and after all....it is winter and winter does..... but in just a few short weeks we all will be daiseys

As long as that meant SEEING daisies and NOT pushing them up...I am fine with that.


Or.....hmmmmmmmmm, oh, never mind.

three things happened today ...

1) council called in . . . i wasn't at all happy with him

2) tv funeral of inspiring Sir Edmund Hillary (captioned!)

3) gave away my three hens and two of my girlfriends big hens.

the day has been hot muggy and sweaty every time i move . . .

going to bed before midnight tummy not comfy - better when i lie down.

hip hip horrah for hot and sweaty.

Well its a better morning for me..Im not at work!!! YAY!!! But its still freezing cold outside...and in here....but at least i am not at work. Hope everyone has a good day!

good afternoon allll

little back garden bonfire is burning . . . trying to reduce a huge pile in the front yard bit by bit . . . now am hot and sweaty. Tom has gone to local to get some paints. Owen and Tanz have gone out after a walk right down to the beach and back with Fist his dog.

mmm Tom woke me up and said the council is here . . . i grabbed a dressing gown . . . (i sleep in every morning). he wished me a happy new year . . . i looked at him . . . and let him have it poor fella, " i am not happy. see me smile?" pointing to my face. "No! My husband, that neighbour and you are putting alot of pressure on me about my chooks! And because you told me to get rid of my rooster - you knew i wanted to breed blue silkies. Now what's that registration/licence for? it's ridiculous paying $100 for having my chooks. my husband here doesn't have to pay to paint pictures and sell them. i am not making money and council raised it from $80 to $100 - what for?!" he mumbled something but i wasn't going to waste my time listening to him knowing he would make excuses or explain the regulations and i butted in by saying i know Tom has already told you everything before i even come here. Yes i am looking after my friend Carol's chooks as she had a surgey done to her shoulder last tuesday - will take two months to get properly better and at the same time i am now giving away half of my chooks". Then i got up and went to kitchen to make my cup of sweet black tea. when i returned he got up from the armchair and said something about a temporary permit to have those extra chooks and fled.

I know i wasn't a very nice person but i had it up to here - fed up with him poking his nose in here every time that dratted neighbour phone him. Tom is very gulliable and would tell everybody everything at a drop of a hat so why cant the council phone him then? Tom even made him a cup of tea . . . and forgot to give me one.

My girlfriends are coming later this afternoon - Carol is coming to see all her chooks - she does love them all - each one of them. Bless her.

Wow Patreena. Seems like your neighbor just doesn't have a life if it isn't trying to irritate you. So, now you have to pay for a separate permit, just to look after her chooks for her???
